If there is something important, which cruise my hole life, it is an interess in social human problems and art, artisan work and design alike. In phases predominated one or the other professional line, but mostly there where crosses: e.g. artgroups with prisoners during my work as a social worker in a prison, art and therapy with deliquent young people in a project in Andalusia and Tenerife.

The work as a theatre scenery painter needed always to work very near to a special theme. That gave me great pleasure. Looking back, I could say, that those years were my easiest and most satisfying professional times.

In January 1993, after a period of searching, my husband and I decided to move to Cómpeta, Andalusia. Not only because of the warm climate and the wonderful location, but also because of the warmth and friendliness of the people which we still enjoy.

Whilst we have been living here, I have had the wish to paint just what I wanted, to express myself, independently from any theme. This is also what I want to help to work towards for the participans on the course. It is not so important creating an „art-work“, as to let the creative process flow freely and to find individual expression. With these art-course I want the pupils to share a little part of the fun I feel while painting and creating.

Another important professional crucial point for me is the fascinating work with wall-paintings and tecnique of imitations (marbling, illusions-paintings, trompe lóeil etc.).
